In 2014, my husband and I welcomed a beautiful little boy into our lives. In addition to giving me WAY more to manage, he also gave me a new perspective on health and wellness. Once he was born, my body was no longer his home, but that didn’t mean that I still shouldn’t be my best and healthiest self for his sake! So I embarked on a journey to renew my wellness, and refocus my cooking and eating on following a clean lifestyle.
But, like most people, I don’t have endless amounts of time to dedicate to working out and eating healthy. I’m a wife, a mom, a military spouse, a grad student, a dog/cat feeder, a social-worker-in-training, a blogger and a runner – just to name a few of the hats I wear! Hence, my messy house! But, no matter what, I wanted my plate to be CLEAN, so my goal was to make clean eating practical, affordable, and delicious for me and my family.
For more information on my definition of clean eating, check out this post. And please feel free to contact me with any questions! This blog is all about my journey trying to match clean eating with my life, and I hope that I can inspire others to do the same!
